TacoLu is open Tuesday through Friday at 11 am for lunch and dinner.  Closed at 10 on most nights, 11 on Friday and Saturday, but now we open at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday and we feature some great brunch items–as well as the rest of the our menu…Brunch is amazing.  Questions? Mondays, NO TACOS FOR YOU!

TacoLu is located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, just a few blocks off the beach.  Everything on the menu is made right here in our kitchen with only a few exceptions.  We make everything in house, by hand, fresh every day–often more than once or twice a day.  Guacamole is made throughout the day and corn tortillas are made two to three times per day.

People ask if we have “regular tacos” and my only response is “you mean, like Taco Bell tacos?”  Fish Tacos and Margaritas are the specialty, but we want to make tacos that stand apart from the crowd (and it is crowded in the Taco Department). If you want a Taco Bell taco, then go to Taco Bell–and get the sauce that comes in a little packet, and the cheese that comes from a big ‘ol plastic bag–along with the lettuce, and tomatoes, and whatever else is ready to serve, straight off a truck.  Good luck getting a margarita with that taco, too!

At TacoLu, we make everything as fresh as we can, and try to be better than anywhere else. We don’t want to change your mind about Mexican food, just open it up a bit.  There’s a lot more to it than ground beef and cheese sauce, my friends!
