We’re glad you’re here! If you are looking for the biggest and best selection of Tequilas, Mezcals and Fish Tacos in Jacksonville Beach, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for the same old, worn-out ground beef tacos with piles of mashed up beans and sour cream, then try this site; you won’t find that stuff at TacoLu. What you will find is fresh made everything! From corn tortillas to salsas to sauces, we make it all here, every day, bringing you the freshest ingredients for tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas around.
We’re not trying to change anyone’s mind about Mexican Food; just open it up a bit!
Speaking of Tequila, we have over 120 to choose from and EASILY the largest Mezcal selection anywhere! We only serve 100% Agave spirits and make the best margaritas around because we also make our own Lu Bru (Sour Mix) by hand, here in the restaurant with only fresh squeezed limes and lemons and homemade simple syrup. Take a look at our Tequila list (link) and our special Margarita list and decide for yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask questions; it is a big list!

TacoLu is open Tuesday through Friday at 11 am for lunch and dinner. Closed at 10 on most nights, 11 on Friday and Saturday, but now we open at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday and we feature some great brunch items–as well as the rest of the our menu…Brunch is amazing. Questions? Call 249-TACO!!
Mondays, NO TACOS FOR YOU!
TacoLu is located in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, just a few blocks off the beach. Everything on the menu is made right here in our kitchen with only a few exceptions. We make everything in house, by hand, fresh every day–often more than once or twice a day. Guacamole is made throughout the day and corn tortillas are made two to three times per day.
People ask if we have “regular tacos” and my only response is “you mean, like Taco Bell tacos?” Fish Tacos and Margaritas are the specialty, but we want to make tacos that stand apart from the crowd (and it is crowded in the Taco Department). We have Fresh Fish Tacos, like blackened Swordfish with wilted spinach and mango salsa, or Wahoo on lettuce with Grape Salsa and Wasabi Soy crema. Carnitas ROCK, Carne Asada is amazing (wait til you get a hold of the Carne Royale…)! Other menu Favorites are Brisket and (the NUMBER 1 taco here at the Lu) the Bangin Shrimp taco. Ask anyone.
If you want a Taco Bell taco, then go to Taco Bell–and get the sauce that comes in a little packet, along with the lettuce, and tomatoes, and whatever else is ready to serve from a big ol’ plastic bag! Good luck getting a margarita with that taco, too!
At TacoLu, we make everything as fresh as we can, and try to be better than anywhere else. We don’t want to change your mind about Mexican food, just open it up a bit. There’s a lot more to it than ground beef and cheese sauce, my friends!
