We have a winner! But you still need to vote today, anyway…

The “Vote with your Margarita” campaign was the most successful promotion we’ve ever had at TacoLu. It was really a good time updating every day and listening to people react as their candidate was either leading or falling behind.

Final tally:

McCain Margarita: 282

Obama-Rita: 225

We’ll see if after today, Election Day, we’ll see the same result. Will the nation vote with the Jacksonville Beach margarita winning candidate?

I hope this does not reflect on their character (except that they REALLY wanted their candidates to win)… I have to say that the most votes were cast by our good friends Michael, Rhonda , Bill and Sara and Tom and Jen!! Way to get out the vote!! Win or lose, your efforts will not go unrewarded!

Here’s some good news: We’ll be selling both the Obama-Rita and the McCain Margarita till the end of the year. You can keep casting your votes, dreaming of what could have been, or reveling in victory until 2009!
