The TacoLu wine list features two wines from the Wild Rock brand: Elevation Sauvignon Blanc and Cupid ’s Arrow Pinot Noir.
The Elevation Sauvignon Blanc is still the classic New Zealand gooseberry, but less of the grass and grapefruit, more of the lime, floral and stonefruit-crisp, spicy, and delicious. Sublime wherever there is sun, seafood or surf. It’s fantastic with a Blackened Mahi taco with our Mango Salsa and Chipotle Crema!
The Cupid ’s Arrow Pinot Noir taste is a mix of bright berry fruit, plums, florals and a background of herbs and wild thyme. The palate is complex and supple with red berry, plum-stone, cherry fruit characters and floral notes. Fine sandy tannins and supporting acidity draw the wine into a long finish. Think: Lamb Taco. Think: $10 Taco. Outrageous!
(Those of you who know me will know immediately that I snaked all that fancy wine talk from the Wild Rock website. I’m nowhere near that good with wines!!)
If you thought TacoLu was the place for Tequila only, you need to give our wine list a shot. Debbie has picked a great variety of wines–all from $5 to $8 for a glass!
