the new year
There’s been a lot of talk about this next year. Maybe, maybe too much talk…
WHATEVER! Last year may have sucked for a lot of people; I’m not one of them. Life at the Lu is non-stop! Non-stop fun, non-stop fast, non-stop, non-stop, NON-STOP!!!
New Year ’s Eve of ’08 was a great and fun night …possibly the first night that Debbie admitted to me that she was actually having fun and was glad to be a part of TacoLu. ( Up until then she was mad that I had snatched her from home and kids and put her to work.) That was a year ago, and now, we’re having more fun than ever. We have LOTS and lots of people to thank for all the fun and success of the last year. Sure we ’ve had our problems ….we ran out of Dos Equis Lager once or twice, had to work with a hangover more than that. But this is the deal: every day I can ’t wait to get to work! Truly, that is not work at all.
2010, already off to a fine start, has much more in store for us all. More Tacos, trips to Mexico, more Tequila, more hangovers, more birthdays … That sounds like a good year already. This year, we might even be ready for Cinco de Mayo …That ’s gonna be a lot of fun. I ’m thinking having a wrestling match in the parking lot!
2010 is going to be DOUBLE-OVERHEAD fun for everyone!!!
My New Year ’s Resolutions
- Get more unique tequilas
- Fix up the van
- Get back to Mexico at least once
- New menus for the Lu
- Tequila Dinners at Tacolu
- Seriously, give Yucatan Taco Stand a try! (It might be good?!)
- Get my TacoLu email out as close to weekly as I can!
- MORE POSTS TO TacoLu.COM!!!
- Clean this office.
- Clean my car
- Make tamales at least once in 2010
- Go Surfing. A lot.
Ok. I suppose I should have edited that list …at least one of those resolutions is impossible and a couple are long-shots, at best! I left the list intact anyway.
New Year ’s Eve ’09 was a blast; just us again, and a bunch of people we love to hang out with, here to ring in the New Year.
