Cocoa Beach for a day! The Dirty Sanchez Valentine’s special!
I went South last Sunday, to Cocoa Beach, in search of warmer waters and my January waves! The waves were big and really choppy, so my lameness couldn’t even get out…Maybe in October I could have, but I’ve been almost two months without surfing much and I have totally lost my endurance and strength… Really disappointing, but I got some great shots of Dante KILLING it out at Second Light, and some other dudes tearing it up on the few waves they caught.
We were just told, by people who know, that TacoLu is the #2 distributor of Dos Equis beer in THE ENTIRE STATE OF FLORIDA!!! It is amazing to me that our little Fish Taco Joint has achieved such incredible heights! When I asked what would it take to be #1, and who the hell is it anyway, I just got a blank stare from our Dos Equis people. The #1 distributor in the state of Florida: Disney. I’ll get used to second place…
Also, today we decided on our Valentine’s Day Special: Buy your very special girl a very special Dirty Sanchez (a 16 ounce PBR and a shot of Juarez tequila) and get a free shot of Juarez for yourself!!! That’s lovin’, baby. We’ll pour the PBR in a champagne flute if you want to be all fancy-like!!
Speaking of fancy: This week we got a hold of some Sheephead and Haddock for fish tacos. The Sheephead is served on wilted spinach with grilled pineapple with just a touch of our Cilantro-Lime vinaigrette while the Haddock is blackened and served much like our Baja Fish taco; on cabbage with Pico and chipotle crema! Both fresh fish tacos are fantastic and are $3.99 each!!
