TacoLu Saturday/Sunday Brunch starts now!

You’ve heard the rumors. People have been whispering among themselves about the ‘next big thing’ to happen to this beach. Well, the time has finally arrived and THIS is the big announcement!

Here it is:

10 am Brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings at TacoLu.

Still sitting down? Think about it: Every breakfast place at this beach has a line out the door on Saturday and Sunday morning–all morning long, so I thought we should open early, feature some great brunch items and give this beach a great option for a late breakfast or early lunch. The best part–Bloody Maries, Bloody Marias and TacoLu Margaritas are available-as well as cold beer and Sangria. Don’t want brunch, but everyone else in your group does?? No problem, have some tacos instead!! The whole menu is also up for grabs from 10 am throughout the day…

We’re keeping things simple, so here’s what we’re offering for the first few weeks: Juevos Rancheros, Chorizo and Eggs, Juevos Divorciados and MY FAVORITE, the Open-Face Breakfast Quesadilla–from here on known as the Don Patrol (get it?)!! Vegetarians, don’t feel left out–we can whip something up for you, too! I just hadn’t given that a thought until right now.

Juevos Rancheros: Two of our fresh made, crispy corn tortillas, covered with cheese topped with black beans and two fried eggs. $6.99

Juevos Divorciados: two eggs, one with our cooked tomatillo sauce, the other with our ranchera sauce with a side of beans, potatoes and crispy corn tortillas and cheese. $7.99

Juevos con Chorizo (chorizo and eggs!!) is an awesome plate of hash brown potatoes with topped with a chorizo and egg scramble! Add some pico and cheese on top with a couple warm flour tortillas–MONEY!!! $7.99

The Don Patrol: large flour tortilla crispy, with cheese, chorizo, black beans, potatoes and eggs on top! Kinda like an open faced breakfast quesadilla, only cooler–it’s the Don Patrol!! $7.99

There will be more, or less, on down the road, but this is where we’re going to start…
